Traditional felting techniques

Come on a basic felt-making workshop & make a fabulous scarf or what about a cushion cover or a wall-hanging? Highly recommended for beginners .

3D felting using templates

Looking in more detail how to maximize the possibilities and

About the workshops:

(All workshops are on wet felting techniques)


Merino or blue faced leicester wool tops are highly recommended for most of the projects Sarah demonstrates,

there is a wide selection of colours to choose from on the day including other fibre 'goodies' such as hand dyed Wensleydale curls, hand dyed silk fibres & hand blended wool batts are available also.


All workshop timings are: 10.30 - 4.30pm, please bring a packed lunch,

tea/coffee & biscuits (included in price) are provided. At the National Botanic Garden of Wales there is a tea shop & restaurant if you prefer. There will be an additional charge for materials –

or you are welcome to bring your own.

Places are limited to a maximum of 8 so the participant can expect plenty of individual attention.

& at times, stamina, perseverance & patience...
